Dear President Bruininks:

I’ll get right to the point. As a U of M alum and consistent, strong supporter of the University's efforts, l am deeply concerned about the situation involving the U's clerical, health care, and technical employees. In view of the fact that the Legislature increased funding for the University by 12% during the 2007 session, it would seem the U ought to be in a position to present a package to these employees that resolves this dispute quickly and fairly. I look forward to seeing that occur as soon as possible.
